How do I request a pickup if I am an ON CALL customer?
It’s easy. Email us or call us at 503-201-3113 the day before your available route day.
Do I have to be present for a pickup or drop-off?
You don’t. A great part about our service is convenience. Take advantage of YOUR time. You designate a spot you would like me to pickup and drop-off , and I will make sure your order is in the right place for you.
I lost my Chris’s Concierge Service laundry bag, how do I leave a drop-off?
I will happily provide another free personalized heavy-weight laundry bag. If you lost or do not have your bag, just leave your dry cleaning in a plastic bag in your usual drop-off location AND write “Dry Cleaning for Chris’s Concierge Service” on the bag in large letters. Chris will pick it up and leave another personalized bag for your next order.
How do I make a payment?
You will receive a monthly statement of charges in the mail, or sign up for automatic credit card billing at the bottom of our signup page.
How will I know my scheduled drop-off and pickup days?
When you sign up you will be put on either a Monday/Thursday, or Tuesday/Friday route schedule. You can tell me if once a week, twice-a-week, or as needed on call service works best for you. You will receive confirmation of your start date via e-mail. Our route associate will leave you a welcome kit on our first visit which will include – among other things – your scheduled drop-off and pickup days.
What kind of cleaning methods do you use?
The dry cleaner uses wet dry cleaning, basic dry cleaning, and laundered methods to clean the garments based on the label inside the garment. We are not responsible for normal wear and tear in the cleaning process. For example, if the label says a suede sweater is dry cleanable vs. using the normal process of sending it out to a special suede/leather cleaner and the suede fades, this is not our responsibility.
How do I tell Chris’s Concierge Service about a special request/issue with my garments?
Simply leave a detailed note in the reverse side of your order form included with your bag identifying the specific garment (including color, fabric type and label if possible) along with your specific cleaning instructions.
What do I do if I have a problem with my order after I get my clothes back?
As good as we are, in this business it’s not a matter of if there will be an issue, it’s a matter of when. When it does happen we want to hear about it so we can keep you happy. Please contact us within 14 days of an occurrence by emailing Chris Stine, or call us at 503-201-3113. Please include your name and address in your message.
Please check your dry cleaning as soon as it is returned to you. If you feel you have not received all your items, please contact us immediately.
Why did my item get returned to me without getting cleaned?
If we receive damaged items they will not be processed and you will be notified at the time of delivery. The item will then be returned to you.
What should I do if I have a garment of clothing that I’ve recently stained?
If you get a specific stain on a shirt please let us know right away what the stain is so we can make the appropriate efforts to get it out.
My office/apartment building is serviced by Chris’s Concierge Service; how do I begin service?
Signing up is easy to do through your office or apartment building contact person. They will give you a form to fill in and include with your first order as well as a bright yellow dry cleaning bag.
